New Year, new blogging

Hello all!

Last semester was kind of a drag as far as classes went. Well, that's a lie. I hated Academic library. The class was really kinda....meh. Reference was a good time, but I just epic failed about telling you all what I learned in it for the most part. I will mention right now that the Nebraska Library Commission offers online reference help most of the day Monday through Friday. That means you can ask any question in the whole world and someone will be on the other end of the computer or telephone to answer it. Magical! And Libraries have this awesome ethics code that basically tells anyone who wants to pry into information to stick it! They even have contingency plans for shredding papers and cool stuff like that.

Watch this video and then think about how that impacts anything you do. Think globally and apply locally. I have to figure out what it means for my library collection. I'll let you know what I come up with when I'm finished.
